Description

This is an antique Eastlake oil lamp made of solid brass (except bolt/nut).

It is missing the burner and has an electric lamp holder adapter on it but thankfully the lamp is not drilled.
Height as shown in first photo: approximately 8.75″ tall (not including lamp adapter on top).
Maximum height when bolt is fully extended: 10.75″ (not including lamp adapter on top).
Base is 5-3/8″ wide.
Total weight: 2 pounds, 11 ounces.

Parts are made of brass with beautiful geometric patterns.
The nut for the bottom is hand made.
CONDITION:
  • There are some small dents in the side of the oil can (as shown).
  • There’s a small gash in the can holder (shown in pics, measures 5/16″ long).
  • Surface rust on the nut/bolt but they move freely.
  • Various areas of verdigris / oxidation / patina / general discoloration from age.
  • The burner is missing and has been replaced with a lamp holder adapter. I have not tried seriously to remove it, but it doesn’t come out casually tugging at it.
