Vintage 1975 Boston Red Sox Team Photo American League Champions 12.25″ x 8.25″

Description

This is an original photomechanical halftone print, I believe these were included with one of the Boston area papers like the Globe or Middlesex News, etc. Printed on glossy photographic paper. They measure 12-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ and are unused and in good condition.

In 1975, the Sox swept the Oakland Athletics in the American League Championship Series with a 3-0 victory, earning their first AL pennant in eight years. But alas, as we know, The Curse of the Bambino was too powerful! Despite their thrilling ALCS win, they fell short in the World Series against the Cincinnati Reds.

These photos were issued to commemorate the ALCS event.
