vtg SR Suntour Suspension EBIKE Fork for 700 Wheel 1-1/8″ Threaded Torque Arm

This is not a normal bike fork, this is a SR Suntour suspension fork for an eBike which has a built-in torque arm, basically.

If you are looking for a fork for a regular bike this isn’t the one!

Basic specs:

Purpose: commuting / packed flat trail riding.  Not for jumping

Material: steel / magnesium / aluminum

Headset: threaded

Brakes: v-brake

Wheel size: 700 

Steering tube: 6-5/8″ x 1-1/8″. Inside diameter: approx 25mm. Takes quill stem.

Dropout: approx 157mm

Weight: 4 lb 12 oz

torque arm / bracket accommodates 10mm axle.

Bolts are missing for the bracket. Bracket mounts to fork, then plastic cover mounts to bracket to contain wires.

Hasn’t been tested, compresses by hand. Has adjusters on the top of the stanchions.

I wouldn’t use this on a high powered hub motor because who knows what it can actually handle. It’s about 15 years old.

Personally wouldn’t go above 300w or so.

Has surface rust on the uppers, on the steering tube and inside the steering tube.

Has scratches / paint wear.

Meant for commuting / cruising / flat packed trails.

Sold as-is / untested, but guaranteed to arrive as described here.

It’s old so could need a rebuild.
