VTG MCM Hurricane Lamp Base w/Nightlight Rococo Baroque French Hollywood Regency

Description

This is a vintage lamp base which is suitable for either a hurricane style lamp or a lamp of which you want to illuminate the body – for example, a painted body or optical glass body. It has a hole suitable for mounting a clip-on C7 type socket which will illuminate the base (not included). You can also use it without the base light, of course.

Accepts 1/8 IPS threaded rod (standard table lamp size). No chips, cracks or bends. Very slightly wobbly (about 1mm space) as is common for these types of bases, but can be accommodated for with a very thin piece of felt on one foot.

The finish is antique bronze/brass type color.

Made of cast pot metal, it measures approximately 8.5″ wide, 2.5″ tall and weighs 2 lb 5 oz.

Has some marks like oxidation on one foot (shown in photos) but in overall good condition.
