Vintage 22″ Japanese Vase Lamp Wood Base/Pedestal Bisque/Plaster Black/Blue

Description

Vintage lamp measures 22″ to the top of the finial, 19.5″ to the bottom of the finial (where shade sits) or 15″ to the top of the socket. Base is appropriately 5.5″ wide, so the body is appropriately 6.5″ to 7″ at widest. Weight: 4 lb.

Body is mostly black with turquoise colored highlights.

Appears to be made of bisque or plaster, though sounds metallic when tapped (perhaps due to the metal vase cap?)

Has a heavy duty cast iron harp with finial.

Presumably made in Japan for the export market.

Body and base are in great shape for their age, no paint loss on body. No chips or cracks. Brass parts have tarnish and wear. See photos for condition.

No shade or bulb included.
