VTG Pair 7.5″ Hand Blown Fluted Hurricane Chimney Clear Glass 1.5″ 1-1/2″ Fitter

Description

This is a pair of hand blown fluted chimneys as shown. They measure 7.5″ tall, 3.75″ at the mouth and 1.5″ on the fitter. These are thin glass except at the fitter where it is more dense.

The glass has swirls, scars and bubbles and other impurities from the glass blowing process. These are not perfect by any means, but that’s what gives them their charm. On each, there is a part of the lip that is slightly malformed from the blowing process. On each there’s also a white spot near the lip as shown.

One of the chimneys has chips at the fitter as shown but it doesn’t affect the functionality. There are no other chips or cracks on either of the chimneys.

If you’re looking for something perfect, this isn’t it! These have a lot of character because they were handmade.
