VTG MCM Extra Large 24″ Castle Wall Sconces French Provincial Wrought Iron Style

They were rewired at some point as the sockets do not look original and the cords have switches on them.

The lamps wouldn’t have had two switches originally.

The bodies are made of metal except the floral part near the top is resin.

The “arms” swing and the lamp body can be positioned to be nearly (but not entirely) sideways as shown.

They’re supposed to be hung by one screw on the top “base” piece and the bottom base rests against the wall.

Condition:

• One leaf or petal on one of the resin pieces was previously repaired as shown, and as such, there is dried glue around that area.
• There is paint wear to the lamps in general.
• One of the inline switches on one cord is a bit fidgety and should probably be replaced.
• One finial is missing. This style of finial is still available.
• The shades have wear such as crushing to the fabric, as well as irregular colors or light staining from age. There is also a tear inside of one as shown.

These are currently packed in a box with two double-walled cardboard partitions separating the shades from the lamps to avoid crushing the shades during shipping.
