VTG Virginia Metalcrafters 15″ Dancing Nude Woman Aluminum Sculpture 18-8 MCM

Description

Vintage Virginia Metalcrafters cast aluminum sculpture, mounted on a cast iron base. Back of sculpture is marked with the Virgina Metalcrafters insignia and “18-8”; base is marked “Virginia Metalcrafters, Waynesboro, Virginia 18-8”.

Measurements:

Approximately 15-1/2″ tall

Approximately 7-3/4″ wide

Approximately 2-5/8″ deep

Weight: 4 lb 9 oz.

Condition:

Sculpture has discoloration to the aluminum from oxidation, no corrosion present. Base has light surface rust where there’s paint wear. The mounting screws have light surface rust as well.

Slight imperfection in pleat of skirt as shown in the last 4 pictures. This doesn’t appear to be damage but rather an imperfection from the casting.

Presented in original condition, should restore nicely.
