VTG 6 NEW Wind Up Mechanical Men Gallery Amsterdam Robot Walking Toy Clockwork

Description

This is a lot of six brand new mechanical men made by The Gallery of Amsterdam New York. They are brand new in the original container.

These are from 1973. I know this because they were found with windup cars in the same type of box as shown here which has a postmark of November 1973. We will be listing those separately.

They are made of metal except the feet which are plastic. None of the mechanisms are stuck, but they’re not exactly moving freely so they might need oil or some adjustments. None of them have damage. In the video you can see that I needed to rotate the gears manually to make it continue its movement. Maybe they just need lubrication – I don’t know. You be the judge.

The springs are steel with a blue tint and some of them have some tarnish to the blue as shown in the photos.
