Description

This is an exquisitely beautiful vintage Shouxing (also known as Shoulao) intricately carved wooden lamp.
The lamp is hand-carved from an unknown hardwood and the period of creation is unknown.
The carving is exceptionally detailed down to the hand-carved teeth, he carries a lot of movement and emotion with his facial expression. He carries the Peaches of Immortality over his shoulders.
Measurements:
  • 23.5″ to the top of the socket
  • 29.5″ to the rest on the harp (where the shade will sit)
  • 7.5″ – 7.8″ wide
  • 6″ deep
  • 6.6 pounds
  • cord measures 1″ short of 8 feet
The lamp quite tall and will become a standout piece.

Condition:
  • He may be missing an eye.
  • There are some discoloration marks on the wood, possibly from wear to the finish.
  • There is also some scuffing and other marks from wear and age.
  • The lamp has been electrically tested and is working.
  • There is no shade included.
