Description

This vintage 1930s lamp has an unusual purple colored base. The color is like a faded lavender or faded lilac color and was a bit difficult to photograph. The color is best shown in the photos where the lamp is on a wood surface as these were taken in natural lighting.
The lamp has a small enameled flower near the base and brass tubing.
The clip-on shade is made of Rayon material.
Probably made by Houze Glass but that’s just a guess.
Measurements:
  • 12.5″ high (to top of socket)
  • 16.75″ high (to top of shade)
  • 4″ wide base
  • 9.5″ wide shade
  • 1 lb 2 oz overall weight.
Condition:
  • The glass has some fleabites on the top as shown. There are a couple of dark spots where dirt has accumulated in those “bites”.
  • The shade has darker spots or staining in various areas, tatty edges, a couple of holes as shown. It is fragile so pressure shouldn’t be placed on the fabric as it will tear. Please make sure all pressure is on the wire frame when installing or removing the shade.
Overall, it’s an adorable little lamp with a Victorian influence.
