VTG 1975 Coachlite Brass Coach Lantern Lava Lamp Body Frame Parts Crestworth 70s

Description

This is a vintage Coachlite “brass Coach Lantern”, which is a Coach Lantern in a brass lacquered finish. Produced in 1975 according to lava-library.com

This lamp does not include a bottle. It is being offered for restoration purposes.

It measures approximately 18″ tall and is made of aluminum.

CONDITION:

The lamp is in working condition.

There is some scratching and scuffs to the finish, particularly on the harp and one portion of the base. This is outlined in the photos. Considering the age, I’d say the finish is in overall good condition.

On the top cap there may be slight denting where the standoffs are. I am unsure if that’s part of the design or not (it’s the same on each side, please see the pictures, there is a pic of each side).

Please note that the lamp doesn’t stand on it’s own. In the pictures it is rigged with fishing line to stand upright. This is not damaged, it’s just the way it’s designed. It needs the bottle to stand upright.
