VTG Pair of 10″ Black & Gold Art Deco Chalkware Wall Pocket Planter Vase Sconce

This is a rare pair of Art Deco chalkware wall pockets which measure 10 3/4″ tall, 13 3/4″ wide, 8″ deep and have a pocket depth of 7″.

They weigh 3.8 lbs each.

These are constructed of plaster and have two hanging eyelets on each pocket.

They are ornate and beautiful by themselves or you may add dried flowers, artificial plants, or other dry materials which you would like to display.

They are painted a coppery-gold color with black accents.

The pockets are in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some minimal paint wear in some areas as shown in the photos.

Packaging:

Given that these are extremely fragile, great care will be taken to assure their safety during transit.

We plan to pack these in the following manner:

1. Apply a single layer of plastic or bubble wrap to protect the paint from scratching
2. Place each piece onto a 2″ thick soft styrofoam board to keep them flat and avoid potential breakages on thin areas, such as the bottom finial.
3. Wrap the styrofoam board in plenty of bubble wrap to hold them still in the center and provide ample padding to the exposed sides with the bubble wrap.
4. Place the pockets into a sturdy box and surround them with ample amounts of Kraft paper and air bubble packets.
