1 Reproduction Reglor Chalkware Lamp Finial Replacement Topper – Green

Description

This is a handmade, reproduction chalkware finial replicated from the original, a direct 1-to-1 copy. Our finials are created in the traditional style of chalkware, using solid brass knurled hardware inset in nickel outer hardware. Paint is closely matched to the original Reglor green, which is a muted green somewhere between seafoam and mint.

Finials are hand cast, cured, finished and then painted and sealed. The entire process takes one week to complete properly, due to drying/curing and finishing. Or, more specifically, approximately 2 hours total handwork per finial (not including curing time).

Please note that there will be tiny air bubbles in the pieces just like the originals, the surfaces aren’t perfect (nor are they supposed to be).

Note: the first two pictures show a different style of hardware. The finials you are purchasing use the hardware shown in the remainder of the photos which is nickel outer finish.

A note on color: this color is difficult to photograph and may appear washed out and white in photos. We’ve taken a variety of photos indoors and out to try to give a better representation. If your lamp has the muted seafoam / mint color then it is probably the same or close enough to match. If you are unsure, we have unfinished, ready-to-paint finials available so you can paint your own. In this case, you’d take your lamp to a paint store and have them color match it with an appropriate paint.
