Vintage 1988 John Wright Green Cast Iron Hanging Indoor/Outdoor Lantern Candle

Description

Made entirely of cast iron. Steel handle. Panes are made of plexiglass.

Measures 9″ tall not including handle, 5-1/4″ wide in each dimension. Weight is 7.5 pounds.

You could place a candle in a jar or small oil lamp inside or 7/8″ taper candle like shown in the photos (candle not included).

There is a quarter inch gap between the plexiglass panes and the windows to allow for venting. Also, the top has four exhaust holes, one at either side.

Lantern is in good condition with some very very slight surface rust here and there. No structural damages. There is some wear to the green paint here and there as shown. Recommend zooming into some of the photos to see the paint wear. It’s mostly on the roof and one large spot on one of the doors as shown.

One of the screws with nut in the bottom was replaced by me as it was missing. It can easily be swapped for another.
