Vintage Electric Hurricane Lamp GWTW 9″ Ornate Gold Floral Handpainted 7″ Fitter

Description

This is a vintage electric hurricane lamp which measures 9″ from the base to the top of the shade holder. The shade holder accommodates a 7″ hurricane shade, not included. The cord is 7 feet long. Lamp weighs 2 lb 3 oz.

The base is made of cast metal and features a sunflower with art nouveau or art deco style designs.

The body is painted gradient with a golden tan color at the top, white through the center, then golden tan again at the bottom. This matches the color of the metal and the cord. The center has a hand painted floral design.

The lamp was likely produced somewhere between the late 60s to early 70s.

The lamp is working and in good condition. There are no chips or cracks and the paint job is in very good condition. The base has no oxidation to the metal. The socket cup and shade holder are in good condition as well, they have a lacquered finish with minimal wear.

Overall the lamp is in very good condition for its age.

No shade included, will fit any shade with a 7 inch fitter.

Takes a standard sized household light bulb, not included.
