VTG 20″ Capodimonte Style Cherub Porcelain Lamp White Green Swirl Dolphin Base

Description

Vintage Capodimonte style lamp measures 20″ tall, 7″ wide, 3-1/2 pounds.

The lamp is fully working and ready to use.

Lamp body is made of porcelain. The porcelain is a white base color with dark green accents embellished with gold. The center of the body has alternating swirls. One swirl style is cross hatch design and gold dots, the other is scenes of cherubs with gold accents. These two same designs replicate themselves around the entire body.

The base is metal, it’s a mixture of steel and cast pot metal. It features for dolphins facing outwards. The base appears to have been previously painted gold.

Condition:

There are two small surface chips on the bottom green band as shown in the last two photos.

There are some small spots of wear on the gold gilding in places.

The top of the body has some marks, some of which are from manufacturing as they are the same color as the green paint.
